For all CavalierTalk members in the Chicago/Illinois area:
The Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue has organized its annual heart and eye clinic in DeKalb, Illinois. For only $35/Cavalier per test (if you pre-register, I think it's $40/dog for walk-ins) you can get your Cavalier's heart checked by a Board certified cardiologist (Dr. Michael Luethy) and eyes checked by Dr. Paul Gerding. This is a great event and an inexpensive way to have your Cavalier's heart and eyes checked. I will be taking Miles and Truman in for their annual checks, and I will also be working at the registration table from 12:00-2:00, so if you come to the event stop by and say "hi"!
Here is the information for the clinics - I recommend contacting Helen Cordell, President of GCCR, if you would like to register since it's coming up so soon. I hope to see you there!
Registrations for the heart and eye clinics this coming Saturday are
officially closed but there are still a bunch of openings. The heart
and eye clinic with Board certified specialists are an inexpensive
way to get a good reading on your Cavalier's health. Here are the details:
Date: Saturday, July 10
Times: 10 am to 3 pm
Location: Northern Illinois Convocation Center in DeKalb, IL
Cost per clinic per dog: $35
There's more information on our GCCR website: www.gccavalierrescue.org. I'd be happy to accept your last minute
registration by phone and collect later. Call me at 630-553-2810.
Hope to see you!
