Saw a gorgeous 2 year old Blenheim boy for sale local to me advertised as having a murmur that requires no treatment and being sold as owner no longer has time for a dog.
Contacted the seller to see what grade the murmur was (expected a low grade in a 2 year old) and was told it's a grade 4.
I have 2 older dogs with grade 4 murmurs and both are on Fortekor. I'm surprised the lttle fellow isn't being medicated and to be honest in my opinion it's as if he's being sold because he does need medication sooner rather than later. Maybe the owner cannot afford the meds. If this is the case isn't it better to be honest?
I was paying £22 a month for 2.5mg for one dog and £35 a month for 5mg for the other from my vet. I now pay £10 for a six month prescription and buy online at £10 a month for 2.5mg and £20 for 5mg. For a small dog thats only £0.38 a day!!
How can people 'get rid' of a dog that can be cared for for less than the price of a daily newspaper?
