• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Question about red bump/sore on lip

Hi
Overnight our King Charles developed a red bump or sore on his lip. Any ideas what this might be, and what we should do to treat it? He does not seem bothered by it.

Probably nothing to worry about but it is always a good idea with anything unusual or out of order, to just ring your vet and ask. A good vet will give advice on whether this is something that might need to be looked at or could be left to see what happens.
 
It could just be a wart - Oliver has quite a few around his neck. If it is, it will need watching if it gets bigger, as it could catch on things on the lip. As Karlin says, check out with your vet.
