My friend's gorgeous blenheim lost his eye in an unprovoked attack by a german shepherd mix and once the fur grew back in he was just as gorgeous as always. The wonderful thing about dogs is that they don't hold grudges. Ella will come out of this and be - well, Ella! Your sweet, loveable Ella. I cna't imagine what you are going through. At least you had someone to drive you and stay with you. And now you have all of us at CT staying with you in our thoughts and in our prayers. Hugs to you and Ella.

So sorry that Ella has been attacked by this dog. Poor girl, she has enough to cope with as it is!

OH NO I just can't believe this - I'm so so sorry Anne, poor wee beautiful Ella. This is so unfair, she and you have enough to deal with

It's good that you have someone with you, and that you are going to a specialist, that gives Ella the best possible chance of healing well.

She will still be just as beautiful with one eye - and they cope amazingly well, given a little time to adjust.


We will keep you both in our thoughts, sending comforting and healing thoughts and our love.

Oh Annie Im so sorry to read this. You're right this is so unfair for little Ella The only good thing is she has you as her Mummy so when she's over her surgery you know she'll be fine and will thrive on the love and care you give her.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Ella is going to be fine eye or not. Just shocking to see that. She is in surgery and I might be able to take her home tonight. She does have a lot but they say, they get adjusted quick and after a couple of days of tender care, the pain from that will be better. She is a special dog.
