• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

This newsletter which summarises current research into syringomyelia in cavaliers, brussels griffons and other breeds is now available at vet neurologist Dr Clare Rusbridge's website:

It is a helpful summary of the condition and where current international research stands, and how the various research projects fit together. It's a really good overall view and also has some new information!
 
Thanks for drawing attention to that, Karlin. There is a grumpy columnist in Our Dogs called Robert Killick who complained recently that all the people on the new Dog Advisory Panel (forgotten the proper name!) are academics with no hands on experience of dogs - and one of them is Clare Rusbridge! She may not have lived as long as Mr Killick but I bet she's had her hands on several thousand more dogs than he has! (By hands on, he meant of course breeders and show people.) We are so lucky that she chose to get interested in SM for her PhD.
