Those are very cute!!! I had checks made with Lucky and Sparky's picture on them.

If someone sent me one of those cheques I think I'd have a big problem parting with it - they are so much nicer than the boring cheques that our banks issue over here. 

Oh Wow - they are just fabulous! Did you see all the other doggy designs too?

How does this system work to get the cheques linked to your bank?

For those in the UK and elsewhere, I see that they also offer cheque book covers

    and address labels

    as well as other things.

Must definitely investigate those. Thanks so much for sharing

Here in the US, there are several printing companies that make checks for banks. You do not have to order through your bank and often it is more expensive if you go through your bank.

I ordered these with a series for 4 pics of the boys:

The vast majority of my checks go to my dog walker ... I guess I was sort of hoping she'd think they'd be too cute to cash.

You simply have to enter your bank's ABA routing number on the form and then the account number for your personal checking account. The routing number is printed on the bottom of your existing checks, so you just type that in. I think the printing companies do validate the information is correct (I know they validate that the routing number is an actual number - I think you put the city/state of your bank and it makes sure they match).

Anyway, that's the short story. I have only ever ordered checks through my bank a couple of time ever.

My husband ordered a new capital one card, the one where you can upload your own personal picture....

He picked one of Sasha and Chamberlain playing in the yard. Its sooo cute!

(sorry the checks reminded me of it!)
