For those of you who have pondered about whether the shape of the cavalier's head is in the brachycephalic category or the mesaticephalic (or mesocephalic or mesaticephalic -- pick your spelling preference) category, a panel of German researchers issued a definitive report yesterday, finding that CKCSs definitely are brachycephalic.
They had one caveat: "However, the CKCS had a wider braincase in relation to length than in other brachycephalic breeds."
