Lost Blenheim male 6 months old microchipped - Great Baddow Chelmsford

Treasured loved young boys puppy went missing from his home area of Great Baddow in Chelmsford on Monday 2nd May 2010, he is so upset and it hurts me to hear of this as it is a family friend. The puppy is microchipped, but may have lost his id tag.

If anyone had heard or seen a young dog in the area or is being offered for sale a young puppy please contact me immediately a reward will be given for the safe return of this much loved puppy, with no questions asked.

Have them put up posters offering an unspecified large reward, no questions asked, everywhere; clearly state the dog is microchipped; if possible, find someone (male or experienced with travellers) to go with them to visit any nearby traveller halting sites offering a reward if anyone comes across the dog, no questions asked. See if you can get news on the radio etc. The 'hotter' the dog is the more likely it will be returned.

Put up the posters in area pubs too.

This breed is a major target for thieves of all types -- why they should never be left alone at any time in a garden. Chipping can help to get the dog back as can neutering as they are then worthless to thieves to sell on or keep as breeding dogs -- the usual fate of stolen dogs, though sometimes they are stolen to order and offered as 'rescues'. However in such a case a vet would likely pick up the chip on an exam and may then check and find the dog is stolen.
