Cavaliers are such an inspiration...

that one of the members of our forum has kindly arranged to donate £250 every 2 months to Rupert's Fund to pay for scans (y) Isn't that just so incredibly generous?

We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people around us :flwr::flwr: and to have our beloved Cavaliers to inspire us to such great things.

I know not all of us are in a position to help financially, but there are so many other things you can do which involve little or even no money

One of the easiest is by using http://rupertsfund.easysearch.org.uk/ for searching the internet rather than Google etc and http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ to buy items [you go through this site to do your normal shopping and the retailer donates a percentage to Rupert's Fund - it doesn't cost you a penny :D] - £20 has already been raised in just a few short weeks by people doing this :wggle:

Telling people about Rupert's Fund and about the above too will make such a difference, also publicising things like the auctions.

Of course most of us buy presents from time to time, http://cavalier-gift-shop.org/index.php is a wonderful place to obtain them (y)

and keep a look out for the auction in the Autumn [you could do your Christmas shopping!] - maybe you could also start thinking about items you might like to donate?

We still have the Rupert's Fund recipe books available see here

and the new calendar competition http://www.cavaliertalk.com/forums/f...ar-competition

and there are special Rupert's Fund cards :D available both from the gift shop and from me.

The small cuddly Ruperts and his girlfriend, Rupert's Valentine, are both still available too http://www.cavaliertalk.com/forums/s...Fallen-in-Love!!

Of course there are others way to help - maybe ask family and friends to sell items on E-bay, hold doggie parties or walks, have coffee mornings, have raffles and bring and buy stalls at these events, even do a car boot sale.

If you have other ideas perhaps you could share them with us too?

How fantastic ! I felt that I have to say thank you too, to those incredibly generous people............thank you from Spangle and me !:thnku:

I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear that Cavaliers inspire all types of donation, large or small. In the last ever TRPD Pet Craft Project quiz recently, Whizzie was so moved by the fact that I have recently lost Megan that, when she won the first question, she nominated Rupert's Fund to win the prize. Thanks so much Whizzie - every little helps so much, as we have seen over and over again.

As a special tribute to Megan and the last ever Sunday night quiz on that forum, the prizes were all £5 Postal Orders, so I am about to Paypal that in to Penny now.

Watch out for much more information shortly about the "New Sunday Night Quizzes" which are being transferred to the Friends of the Animals RCT Forum and will recommence on Sunday 3rd July at 19h.00 (BST)
