Hundeleine is dog leash/lead. "Lead" is more British English, I think, but I've heard it used here in the U.S. in the context of "a dog walking on lead." Both lead and leash are in my German-English dictionary for Hundeleine..
Your leashes are beautiful. Seriously! Do you sew on a Pfaff? I can't imagine using a regular walking foot (Obertransportfuss ) on those. The even feed that is built into the Pfaff would work best on this type project.
