• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Saving and Emailing MRI Images from a CD

Does anyone know how to do this? I have a CD of MRI images and can't figure out how to save the images. It is in some type of MRI program that has a toolbar with rulers, etc at the top. Save is not an option in the File menu, nor does it come up when I right-click. I know the basics about computers, but that's it! How do I save these images to send in an email?

Holly I don't think you will be able to e-mail the images, you have to have specialist software to do that.

Where are you trying to e-mail to? You might be able to get another copy of the CD if it is to forward to another neurologist or similar.

I think I've figured out (with some help! :)) how to do a print screen and save them as a jpeg. Thanks!!
 
Yes that is one way to do it it if you don't need really high res images -- you can just do a screen shot of the image. :) I think Nicki is right otherwise -- you need the software to select and save an image.
