Harley has hurt his leg.

It seems I am always at the vets these days. :(

In June I was at an agility competition, we entered what is called triple A agility this is where the A Frame is included 3 times. In the evening Harley was limping. We were meant to go to the competition the next day but I was not going to risk it even though he was fine again. In July I entered him only once for competition and he was fine. Then two weeks ago i went training and he went over the A Frame once and then refused it, what he never does. So I thought he was doing it for a reason and not let him do the A Frame. In the evening he was limping again but was fine again in the morning. Last week I took him to the vets because of his ears and I mentioned his leg to the vet. The vet had a feel and he said that he was sore on his front leg’s elbow. He gave some tablets and said to rest him. Well since we have been to the vets and he pulled his leg about Harley is much worse he has not stopped limping. When I took Ebony for her check up I mentioned it to the vet. So on Monday I have to take him back for an X Ray. I just hope it isn’t anything serious, after everything with Ebony I just can’t take much more.

Oh no Sabby :( it seems you are having the most awful year with your dogs

We go through times when one after the other seems to go down with something and we seem to spend all our time [and money...] going backwards and forwards to vets and specialists...

I hope it is good news on Monday - it might be worth thinking about a chiropractor appt? Tania is the best one to advise you on that.

Oh dear :( I will keep a prayer out for him that it is just some rest and TLC that he needs. Hugs to Harley, let us know how it goes Monday.

Just dropped Harley off for his XRay, they also going to do general blood tests and a blood test for limes disease.

Vet just rang and his blood tests are ok. The one for limes disease they had to send off. I ask the vet to look at his ears again while under anaesthetic and he has a ruptured eardrum again. He had one last year. Now they are also doing an XRay for the middle ear.
