Is this a Irish site?

Hello I have been on here a few times as I am looking to adopt a cav, I notice in the rescue section that it is always dogs in Ireland, is this an Irish site and if so do you know where I would find a british site?

There are people here from all around the world. I live in the States. We have people from England, Ireland, Denmark, and Australia to name a few.

It does seem like quite a few of the rescues are from Ireland, but, if you watch you will find there are others. Those that live in England might be better at directing you to the rescues that would be closest to you.

This forum was set up by Karlin Lillilngton who lives in Dublin and who set up Irish Cavalier Rescue - hence the close connection with that rescue.

From the Cavalier Club site, these are the rescue contacts

It's also worth trying independent rescues and the larger rescues such as Dog's Trust etc. Whereabouts in the country are you?

depending on your circumstances, you may wish to consider a puppy farm rescue from someone like Many Tears - but do please read the thread on the breed rescue section about them

If you scroll down on the Many Tears page there is a B&T and Blen, both aged 8, who have lived in a home.
