Hi my Ruby is 8 yrs old and has enlarged heart, bad cough and murmur about grade 6.... I have tried keeping her weight down but she is so fussy..She only eats chicken but vet said not to give her.... I dont understand because lots of people give their dogs chicken and i thought it was good for them.... I am going again in a month and am going to ask again... She is on Vetmedin, Furesimide, Enaptypril. Poor little thing. She has to have furesimide every 8 hours because there is a lot of fluid on her lungs.... I love her sooo much as I am sure you all love yours but just wanted to say that I know what you are going through.....Every day is a bonus xxxx
