Post Bee Sting

Hey all,
so Brooky got stung by a bee a few months back and had a horrible reaction. After see the vet, all returned to normal though...but the spot where the stinger was remained forever a little red and pretty hairless (I am talking a really small area). But my husband has recently noticed that there is now a pimple like thing developing where the original sting was (i.e. the little red spot that was always left over has now turned into a little bump. It is not so much worry some to us (she doesnt even notice) but we are curious as to why this might be. Any one know?
