Heart research

The following is on the Cavalier Club website:

Simon Swift (Northwest Surgeons) & Anne French (Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies) are to look in more detail at the incidence of heart disease in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels using echocardiography in combination with auscultation. As a result, they will be visiting different parts of the country over the next year to examine dogs with a portable echocardiography machine that was bought partly with generous funding from the Club.

If you're interested in taking part, there is a link to more info from the front page of the Cavalier Club website (www.thecavalierclub.co.uk)
As far as I know, you don't need to be a member of the club, but I expect your dog needs to be KC register (either as a pedigree or on the activity register).
