I got my harness today, (thank you Tania, very quick service) and it's the best I've ever had. Spangle wore it just going for her walk this afternoon and she seemed really comfy in it and because it has 2 buckles, I didn't need to put it over her head which she really hates.
I would happily recommend it (especially when bought from cavalier matters shop!!)

Thats great news to hear you ship internationally! These are really beautiful harnesses. I saw quite a few on the conitnent, think they are a big trend there but I think they are more human, as left pressure around the dogs neck. A site which is superb for deals for dog care such as grooming and pampering, I had leo done at a local salon for a fraction of the usual costs! He was like a new dog when he came out. lol.

Thanks Tania my harness and sweet pillow arrived yesterday they are both lovely the harness is very east to put on
Just wondering do you leave the car fitting in the car most of the time or on the harness? Just wondering what most people find works best for them

It would be very helpful if people could post the approx size of their Cavalier and what size harness they bought, to help others who are interested.


We leave the seatbelt attachment in the car all the time - unless your dog is travelling in more than one car or you are using the seats from something else, it makes it easier just to pop them in and out!

Got my two harnesses. I ordered a small for Misty her girth was 55cm, and a medium for Murphy, his girth was 57cm. They both fit well, they will be even better once the chest plate molds to their shapes. The medium was the right choice for Murphy, he has a very deep rib cage , but he's so slim and long, but it's got space to come in and quite a bit to go out if he turns chubby in his old age. Misty is already a little chubby, so no need to worry about her

I got their pillow as well. Misty's not used her's yet, but Murphy has, after he killed it a little of course

I bought a small for Myra she is 8.5kg and has a very full coat it fits her perfectly she loves her sweet pillow also but our staffie keeps stealing it so i will have to order another.
