Wow! Wouldn't it be great to see the KC/AKC/CKC/IKC etc doing this?!

This Dog Health workshop being held by the Swedish Kennel Club is so much more comprehensive than anything out of the KC, AKC etc. It also looks at big picture issues and international collaboration.

And I like the slogan: "From attention and awareness to action!" Some very high profile and internationally known people involved in workshops too -- highlighted a few...

They are just so far ahead of us...wouldn't it be fantastic to have that here?

Would love to know if anyone from the KC is attending!!

That is great!!
Exactly what I was thinking, the Swedes are always miles ahead of us in so many facets of society!

Just thinking about the discussion over on the PDE2 threads and the total LACK of harmonising nationally in UK much less internationally with other neurologists, of definitions of CM and therefore how important this bit would be:

Harmonisation of screening procedures and certifications

Of course not helped by confusion either over the KC/BVA scheme launch(which is an attempt to harmonise CMSM scans) and lack of support from many breeders including club committee members busy encouraging UK breeders to use an alternative confection they have thought up, with no such standardised scrutiny (the kind of standardised scrutiny which CKCS breeders said they wanted for many years!). :sl*p:
