Thank you so, so much for all your good wishes. They must be working. After we got back from the vet, Misha was very upset so we went back for a sedative shot. He fell fast asleep last night and is still groggy today. His eyes are back to normal and he was even able to walk around a bit on his own! Fingers crossed he keeps up the healing.

Have been in this situation with four different teenaged Cavaliers - two had more than one vestibular episode in their later years. I also agree that it can take longer than three days to resolve. One of the four was left with a permanent head tilt. Supportive care (including Meclizine) was all that was needed. The first time it happens is very frightening, but you will recognize the symptoms after that.

Hope symptoms are improving at this point.
