Just finished reading SAVING GRACIE: How One Dog Escaped The Shadowy World Of American Puppy Mills.

A must read, but grab your tissues! It will break your heart, but this little tri girl finally finds her forever family.

Lucky Star Rescue was a part of this large confiscation of puppy mill dogs. Lucky Star offers the book on their website.

I finished reading my first e-book on my ipad, called 'giant george' and wanted to read another dog one. was googling reviews on other dog books when it recommended saving gracie.
instantly recgonized the cavalier on the front and had to read it.
ive been reading since about 10 or 11 and am half way through it already.
cried..outa sadness for the dogs and happiness of hearing how these dogs are now enjoying their new enviornments.

you hear about puppy mills on tv..on the internet.. but rarely do you get to see pictures..or hear the story from this point of view in such depths.

its after 1am andi dont want to put it down..but know ill be up all night if i dont.
Oliver and Max and Meeko man, i will meet you at the Rainbow bridge. I love you all. Miss you more then you'll ever know.
    wait for me...
