Default 1 year since Jaspers Spinal Surgery

It is 1 year today since we had to rush Jasper to a referral specialist in Birmingham for his emergency Spinal Decompression Surgery for his slipped disc. Cannot believe its been a whole year, and what an experience that was, one I don't wish to ever repeat, but when you need to you just do. He as been doing well, touch wood.

Here he is in his cage, its was 4ft by 4ft as advised by the specialist,

My living room floor was like a creche for around the first month or so until he was walking without his sling, it was around 8 weeks until I was advised he didnt need the sling anymore and that he didnt need to be crete rested. He loved to be out of his cage with Gabby and the cats around him.

So well done Jasper and keep on doing well

Here he is taken a few months back proving how well he as been doing

Wow, the time really went fast . It was great to see his progression in pictures, especially the last one! Amazing how fast they heal.

So glad to see Jasper doing well! How wonderful to see him running around carefree in the photo! I love the picture where he is surrounded by your other animals. It looks like they are keeping their brother safe.

Fantastic to hear that he is doing so well Andrea, I know you went through some really tough times with him

You were so dedicated with his surgery and recovery, I still remember the video of his first walk where he cocked his leg on every blade of grass LOL wasn't it wonderful that he could do that??
