• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

This is a really excellent resource! Thank you from me and my two ruby Trouble Makers as well. Hope we never need to use this, but I'm going to bookmark it. :)
 
Yes it's so handy as the issue can be very confusing for people.

It is such a potentially serious thing and should never be fed as a treat -- never give dogs a taste for chocolate! I have a friend who had to rush 4 dogs to emergency at Christmas as a visiting dog figured out how to open the door into the sitting room where there was a huge dark choc bar on the table -- one was critical with heartbeat at a really alarming rate and all were on drips, not a very nice holiday period for her. All thankfully pulled through.
