Today marks the first anniversary of our Bailey's passing. In this sad day last year we said a very painful and sudden goodbye to this special little guy. He's sorely missed. Thinking of you always, Bailey.

For those who don't know, Bailey was a very special Cavalier who went through Irish Cavalier Rescue.

His story is here

This is a cavalier who has been utterly, appallingly neglected, and unsocialised to dogs or people and has lived with chronic pain for years, with a painful eye and an unadjusted puppy collar that grew into his own neck. He was left by himself in a back garden with no interaction.

Awe.... so sad. Read the story :( How can people be so cruel?
Molly... I am sure his time w/ you was the best. You obviously loved him very much.
My prayers for you and your family on the anniversary of his crossing rainbow bridge.
~hugs~

Thinking of you. I hope Bailey is running happily at the Rainbow bridge playing with all our other dogs and Cavaliers who have passed.

Just read Bailey's story and I'm crying tears of sadness that his life was so short and tears of happiness that Bailey knew love and affection and was happy and well looked after for the last few years of his life. Rest in Peace sweet Bailey.

He was a very special little dog, who suffered so much, but then he found a family that loved him, it may have only been for a little while, but he was needed in another special place, where he will be loved too, god bless you molly and family for loving and caring for Bailey. karen ruby and sadie

Thank goodness he had his last years in such a loving and caring home. You must miss this special little dog such a lot.

RIP Bailey

I just experienced the anniversary of the passing of one of my beloved, so I understand the heartache it brings.

I hope that you are sometimes able to think of him with a great smile on your face, at the JoY you brought to his life.
