Dr. Beardow was one of the cardiologists who presented the MVD breeding protocol to a capacity crowd of US cavalier breeders in May 1998 at a CKCSC,USA symposium in Atlanta, and since then has remained perplexed as to why so many breeders continue to ignore it.
