The Cavalier Club are holding a health clinic on 29 September, from 10 till 4, at Bagworth Community Centre, Station Street, Bagworth, Leicestershire LE67 1BJ.
Simon Swift will be checking hearts - not a full cardiology exam but a useful quick check to see whether your dog has a murmur or if an existing murmur has got worse.
There will also be an ophthalmologist checking primarily for Progressive Retinal Atrophy, which is hereditary in Cavaliers. This check costs extra.
Club members get the heart check for free. Cavaliers owned by non-club members pay £5. Other breeds can be heart checked for £10.
Kate, and Oliver and Aled, who both say hello to Simon and his stethescope every year.
