Bentley just loves his family - we call ourselves Grandma & Grandpa to him, just as if he were another grandchild. Even though Grandpa is 75 he still frequently does contract painting and when he leaves for work Bentley runs from window to window to "watch" him go out our long driveway. He knows what the word "watch" means so runs to the first window when we say the word. Once Grandpa leaves the house, Bentley goes to his bed and, for the most part, stays for the rest of the day. When the garage door raises and he hears a truck door Bentley runs to the back hall and can't wait to see Grandpa. He likes us to all be together in the same room when Grandpa gets home and this is the only time he sits in the middle of the floor and chews on his rawhide bone. Funny little traditions that he's made!
