    Has anyone on here used one of those pet safe heating pad things? i just saw it on that site and thought it would be an amazing idea ..but they seem expensive...

    SP - the vet clinic I worked at used those. I also know several people who have used them for guinea pigs. If your pet needs to be warmed, give it a try. I don't own a microwave so I bought a self-heating mat for my kitties for $13. It works well - I acidentally sat on it and was wondering why my butt was so warm
