    Default Charlie wants his neck massaged

    Charlie was sitting on my lap when I checked the fit of his collar by placing my fingers between it and his neck. Charlie then put pressure against my hand and when I massaged his neck signalled he wanted me to continue so I did.
    I'm surprised an SM dog welcomed the pressure on his neck.
    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Not all SM dogs are sensitive around their neck, and may really enjoy a nice rub or scratch. None of mine with SM actually mind having a neck massage either. But it is a case by case situation really. When Leo is sensitive (on and off) it is his sides which he doesn't like being touched. Good to be cautious.
