Just to update, he actually was only just picked up and has to do his 5 days in there. If not reclaimed he can be homed after November 1st .He can be booked in advance of that date by going in person to the pound (they will not book a dog by phone). I do not think the pound will be open again until Tuesday now due to the bank holiday although possibly may be open for a couple of hours Sunday.
