Syringomyelia in the Brussels Griffon: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Findings, Clinicopathology, and Prevalence

"Their goals are to identify the prevalence of SM in BG; to delineate clinical signs and spinal fluid abnormalities in BG with SM; and to utilize MRI to define structural abnormalities associated with SM in the BG breed."

What do they mean by delineate clinical signs?

Rod tends to post any updates as does Clare on her blog. I am not aware of any updates on this.

Clinical signs are outwardly visible signs that help diagnosis (as opposed to say, an MRI in a dog with no outward symptoms). They might be induced by an examiner (squeeze test) or spontaneous (yelps, scoliosis, scratching).

I think 'delineate' is just a posh way of saying 'identify and list'!
