Bentley's headed to the vet this afternoon. I noticed he didn't smell good at all, even after having a bath on Saturday. It was worse this morning and when I sniffed his ears I nearly gagged. I'm thinking ear infection?

If the smell is limited to his ears, then yes, I think that's likely, or ear mites. You might ask about how to do regular cleaning with one of the correct ear care products as that helps dogs with blocked ear canals (those droopy ears! ) avoid ear infections.
