beach day

Saturday was perfect weather with small waves on Lake Michigan. So we packed a lunch, and the 3 kids with tails hitched up the boat and were off.
As we got an early start, there was very little boat traffic in the channel leading to the lake.

We went North along the shore until we got to the "Muskegon Dog Beach" there we had to anchor the boat, and have the kids swim to shore.

The swim was worth it as Cooper and Nina got to play ball. Nina started screaming as soon as her feet hit the beach!

After the swim back, they had a bite of our lunch, and sat in the sun to dry off. It was a good time for all, except when we had to "fly" over some bigger waves; the kids were not too thrilled about that
