Default Sorry it's been so long! Update on SM

    Hi everyone,

I'm sorry its been so long!! I hope you & your doggies are all well

Well, after Dooley being diagnosed, we've had a good run (3 years) on 300-400mg of Gabapentin a day. However, Dooleys SM symptoms have increased & we are off to the vets tonight as Dooley is so poorly It's like we are right back to square one, he is in so much pain and its really affecting his mobility today

SM is so utterly heartbreaking, I just hope we find something to help quickly xxxxx

Really sorry to hear this. Print off Clare Rusbridge's treatment algorithm to take with you, there are lots of options for medical management. Ideally you need to be in contact with a neurologist, they are best at managing this type of condition.

Do hope Dooley can be made more comfortable.
