Default But Dad! I'm not ready to go home yet!

Abby, putting on the brakes as we head for the parking lot a park this morning. Is it possible for a dog to look determined and sad at the same time?

That's too funny. She didn't want to go home and let you know it!

She sure has a way of letting you know what she wants. Her expression in that last picture says it all!

And people say dogs can't talk!

Shelter dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human, we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. Do not pity a shelter dog. Adopt one.

She sure is a pickle when she wants to be. My wife Judy said she did the same thing to her on Monday. Then on Tuesday, the day before I took those pictures she pulled the same thing on me. She even went out into the deeper snow and laid down and rolled around in it to keep from going home. So I brought the camera with me on Wednesday. Personalities are part of what make Cavaliers a pure joy!
