• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

SM and prednisone update

So glad that Samwise is doing better. Re his coast, it may be the dermoscent or the steroid reduction, but it could also be stopping the Gabapentin. I had one dog who was clipped (under sedation) whilst on Gabapentin and his hair didn't grow back, the vet couldn't believe it! He had hair loss on his belly and tail, was also tested for thyroid etc I've had several others with limited hair growth on Gabapentin, and it's a known side effect in humans.
