Hello all, just an update on Pippin re. his bladder problems...
Pippin saw his own vet on Monday. He has a uti now which my vet feels has become chronic she took bloods and gave him short term antibiotics for now, but he may need them long term. He may also need a bladder scan. We see what happens when the course of antibiotics finish next Monday.
His heart is stable, but he had some crackling indicating a small amount of fluid on the left side. Also on the right side sounds were muffled, which she feels could be some fibrosis of the lungs or a mass between the heart and lungs, hopefully not but we are to monitor him closely for signs of weight loss. He has lost a little weight recently but nothing too worrying. He has stopped peeing everywhere and is not waking at night since starting the antibiotic. He is also much more settled and more himself again We review again in a fortnight...
