    Default Cavalier tonsils

Last week, our two cavs, Fred and Ginger, went to the vet for their annual checkups. Although they were in good health generally, they each had a tonsil protruding from its socket. Fred's tonsil was slightly infected, and the vet prescribed some medicine, which we have administered twice daily for a week.

Has anyone else here had a problem with protruding dog tonsils?

    Thanks for your attention,

    Roy and Jean

I've never heard of this being an issue with Cavaliers. It seems a bit odd that both of your Cavs had this happening at the same time. I hope they are better soon.

I read, just yesterday, that Ronald Reagan's Cavalier, Rex, had his tonsils removed after having problems with them.
