Green Bean Bandit

Abby has been enjoying our green beans (along with the rabbits) all summer. Yesterday, she decided to wear a green bean in her ear.

Our almost 6 year old Cav loves raw green beans, as well. I've been afraid he'd find the fresh ones growing in our fall garden. He certainly likes to have them as a treat while I'm snapping them.

Abby loves the young tender beans. She also discovered our lima beans as well. She eats pod and all. Good roughage. Next year we are going to plant beans in two areas, one out in the open for Abby and the rabbits and another area protected with an Abby and rabbit proof fence.
