I'm nervous and excited all at the same time!! Our club has 3 cavaliers coming into rescue in the next couple of weeks and I'm going to foster one starting tomorrow! This guy is a little (12 lb) approx 4 year old blenheim that was found as a stray and turned into a kennel. Our rescue person is going to pick him up tomorrow and deliver him right to my groomer (Lil Miss Priss) for clean up. I'll meet them there and bring him home. He's a cutie. I've gone and bought a crate and am anxiously awaiting his arrival.
Jake and Shelby are just great with other cavaliers. Neither had any problem letting Shiloh and Rory into their domain and sharing their stuff, so we'll see how things go.
Hubby and I have talked about getting a third and both agreed we don't want to start out with a puppy again. We'll foster this guy and see how things go.
Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes okay! Any advice from any of you pros out there??!! (Karlin, I specifically had you in mind when I agreed to do this!)
