Default cavalier mix in shelter in Maryland

    http://www.calvertcountyhumanesociet...ecockerdog.htm

This B&T guy is listed as a cavalier mix -- except for the muzzle looks pretty cavalierish to me; might be a puppy farm or backyard-bred cavalier as I've seen them like this before. I see the link names him as a part cocker but doesn't say this on the notice for him so maybe that was someon'es guess. He looks lovely.

This shelter is in Maryland, if anyone US-based is interested in this older fellow.

Oh what a little love. he looks like a Cavalier Cocker mix to me. He ahs all the feathering etc but his muzzle is more Cockerish and his colouring is more Cav like. He looks quite large too Karlin, or is that just me????

It's always hard to tell on those pics. I've had what were probably cocker/cav or cav/collie mixes before and they look like this. But again, a lot of dogs sold by indiscriminate breeders have muzzles that are long etc -- bad breeding alone will cause some major changes in the appearance of a dog fairly quickly, and also, often their breeding stock isn;t p/b to begin with.

    He looks lovely.

I've known a couple of Cavalier/Cocker mixes, and they looked similar to him - but as Karlin says, bad breeding can throw Cavaliers that look like this too

Hope he finds a good home.
