Oh I so agree! I've always thought they looked out of place amongst the stacked/immaculately coiffured toys. I wonder if the size has suffered as a result of trying to make them look more acceptable in the toy group?

I have for a while thought of getting a new (and probably my last) Cavalier puppy, but I wouldn't know where to start looking nowadays.

I know a few local breeders and they are all lovely, responsible breeders. I was going to get my pup from one (she is also Maxx's breeder) but she lost the litter :cry: her friend has got 3 pups at the minute and another litter due in a few weeks.

You would have to come down to them though as they won't let their pups go unless they have met you and are quite happy with you

You can always stay overnight with us though if you want, we've got a spare room

Thank you all for your lovely messages,

I look at the two cavaliers that I have now, sleeping peacefully, tummys full. So content are they now.

I remember the days that they came to me and the condition that they were in. It's something I would really rather put behind us now.

From somewhere love just came and today I adore them, my girls.

Tomorrow I shall be blessd again, a new little life to take care of, little Lulu! my arms ache with excitement for that first touch, to hold her and know that she is so safe, how very lucky am I.

May the sunshine upon her and an angel walk with her and protect her, may she trust me and know that I will only ever love her.
