Interesting, Ruth! Cedar's vet said she had week patellas on her first vet check when we got her. He said we'd just have to see how she does, but that she probably wouldnt be an agility dog, etc. She loves running and stuff, though, so perhaps I will find a hill to take her up (i'm sure it wouldnt hurt me either :S )

Well Zola has just come back from her check up with the surgeon and everything is perfect! He says we can start taking her out for 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes in the evening from next week! I can't wait to get her back out in the open air. Her poor little nose will be worn out from all the sniffing!
The only down side is knowing we have to put her through it all again in mid january. At least she'll have a reasonable Christmas.

Glad to hear everything is going so well. It's so nice to have something that is almost always curable with surgery and doesn't come back!!
