    Default Heart Clear

Abbey had her Cardio appt today, and we were told her heart sounds "beautiful"! icon_banana icon_banana

She wasn't showing any signs of an issue, but we plan to have her checked every year to keep on top of things in case something does happen.

For those of you in Mn, Dr. Tobias at the University of Mn is wonderful!

Thanks, we were very happy. We celebrated with a rousting round of "I'm Gonna Get You" in the backyard!! She was going nuts as we just had another fresh snowfall. When I brought her in I had to towel her off she was so wet!

Excellent news Jen. Isn't it a relief to get that info? How old is Abbey?

Yes great news Jen. And yes isn't Dr Tobias great. I had him check a couple of my pups at a clinic at the Duluth show. He seems so very kind and so sensitive to the dogs.

Jen, that's absolutely great news. Yes Dr. Tobias is the best. He is the one that sees all our dogs at the heart clinic every year at the Duluth show.

Dr Tobias is so great, I really like his energy. He's very soft-spoken and calm, Abbey responded to him very well.

Abbey's 3, she'll be 4 in April. Her last test was when she was a year old and still with her breeder. She was never breed, and Dr. Tobias told us he typically sees those in a breeding program every year or so. He said for companion dogs it's really up to the owner's discresion. I figure given the rate of MVD, we'll stick with yearly.
