I'm considering enrolling Cedar in a basic obedience class that leads to a CGC test at its end. However, after doing some research on akc.org, I discovered that the test has to be performed on a collar, either buckle or slip. Obviously, we all know the basic opinion about cavs and collars. Does anyone know about the AKC CGC requirements? Are there exceptions to the collar rule?

I'll find out more at class next week, but I thought some of you may have run into this same situation before. Have you?
