Oh no I'm so very sad to read this news, Joyce, BellaMia was absolutely beautiful. It's never long enough, is it? Our thoughts are with you.

I'll message you later.

So sorry for your loss Joyce.
It's heartbreaking 💔
Thinking of you at this really sad time, BellaMia was so beautiful 🌹
Sleep tight sweet girl 🐾🐾

I'm so very sorry for this huge loss. BellaMia was such a lovely and sweet ruby girl (there's always something so pretty about rubies, I think). I am glad you were able to have so many years together even though it is never long enough. 😥

Thank you Karlin. I miss her so much. It's the first time in 25 years I'm without a dog. The house is so empty and silent right now. It will probably be some time before we get another. We want to do a lot of traveling while we are still healthy enough.

I totally understand. We waited nearly two years before we were ready for Pyrenean Mountain Dogs again after we lost our last pair. And I would have waited much longer when I lost Jaspar if Sinead hadn't contacted me kindly and tentatively to let me know she did have a male pup seeking a home (my Gus) and I realised I felt ready . And yes, it is much easier to take that quiet time now, to keep her in your hearts while you do some things you have wanted to do. The time will come when you are ready. Again, so sorry for your loss.

Thank you Pippa. I miss her so much.
It's very hard, we said goodbye to our ruby girl, Millie in 2022. The house was so quiet without her but we needed quite some time before having another. It's good to have time to grieve and remember the special little ones x
