Hi everyone,
I'm a bit concerned about Ruby, She had her first season at 6months old (she's now 8months old) and it lasted for about 6 weeks, we took her to the vet because a) she was so young, b) the season lasted so long and c) her nipples became extremely hard in the last week.
Anyways the vet said not to worry, it was unusual to be so early and last so long but she was fit and healthy.
Now for the reason i'm worried.....last night she seemed to be very swollen like she was on heat, it also looked like she was loosing again but thankfully that hasn't happened. This evening she is really swollen like when she was it the height of her season, she's not her usual self...wont even give me kisses on my nose!
She's eating and drinking fine, going to the loo fine, playing with her Evie etc...although both are currently flat out on the sofa!
Other than the swelling and no kisses she's perfectly normal......anyone got any ideas?
I'm gonna take her to the vet tomorrow if she's no different but just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas what could be wrong and if I can do anything for her?
Best Wishes
Sarah
