Bella can't walk :-(

I'm so glad things turned out well for Bella. How is she now after her pain killer and muscle relaxant? I really hope she will be ok. That must be the best birthday present ever. Hope you have a nice birthday tomorrow. :hppybdy:

So, so, so happy! I do agree with others though that when the time comes there are many happy little three legged dogs out there.

I am so happy Bella is going to be okay. I hope the pain killers and muscle relaxants are helping her on a speedy road to recovery. :flwr:

I am so pleased for you and Bella

Oh what fabulous news after such a dreadfully worrying day. Even though she may be facing some problems up the track, at least you now have time to consider the options that will be available when the time comes.

Enjoy your birthday! :)

Oh, what a relief for you!!! I truly believe in prayer. Give little Bella an extra snuggle from all of us!

Just an update to report - Bella is 100% back to normal and is wobbling round the house as she always used to and is evidently sooo much happier now that the pain is under control... Poor little fur baby - but such a good result...

Ohhhhh that is so wonderful to hear!!! Makes me smile...:) I hope she continues to improve!!

oh that's great news - and what a wonderful birthday present! Give her a gentle hug from us!

Rupert did try a disabled cart when he had mobility difficulties almost 4 years ago, after a very severe Syringomyelia pain episode.

They need to have very strong front legs to manage a cart, but he did adjust to it quite quickly, with the aid of treats LOL.

I hope that Bella can manage without a cart in the future...

Could I suggest going to an orthopedic surgeon for a ortho review or specialist in this area before things get to a stage when they may/will need action. I recently did this with Digby as he has a hip/spine/joint problem and it was so good to have him fully examined by a spacialist in this area who had countless options for not only treatment when and if the time comes but also for preventative solutions to keep the problems at bay for as long as possible. Also then you are familiar with the set up process for when you need it.
Glad your little one is ok now, I can imagine your relief.:rah:
