I took Ellie now 14 months old for her booster jab today.
Last October she was having trouble with her back legs, and the vet diagnosed LP . At the time, he did say that as she grew her muscles round the joint might strenghten and hold the joint in place.
Well I am pleased to say that he couldn't find anything wrong with her legs today.:rah: He says she is a perfect weight for her size 8kg.
She has 100m of James Wellbeloved kibble a day...also some fruit or veg.
I allow her 2 small treats a day, and she gets a good walk every day, or a run round the field depending on the weather.
My vet was saying he gets a lot of Cav's who are vastly overweight.....
According to the information on the bags of food, an 8kg dog should have 155 gr of kibble a day, so I can see why it would be easy to overfeed.....I :luv: my Ellie sooo much:rah:
