Jolly is always watching. He is too small yet to learn how to behave on the invisible fence, so the 3 adult dogs get to out and he watches
from inside (first picture).
(Yes that is snow out the windows!)
He would love to be out there with them. However, I want to wait until after winter to do his training.
The collar is heavy and I want to wait until he is done growing before I have him wear it. He has learned his other commands already,
so he is ready for this new adventure.
The rest of the pictures are of Jolly, once he noticed that Oscar the cat was eating cat food on top of the dryer. (Notice that our cat food,
water and litter box are all dog proof. They can't get at it, but they wish they could.) Jolly longs to be Oscar's friend, but Oscar treats him horribly.
Gives him the cold shoulder or Oscar swats at him.
But I know Oscar likes him. You should see when Oscar is on a high perch and looking down at the dogs. He thinks Jolly is the most
interesting to watch. Jolly always comes back for more if Oscar is
in the room. It is like Jolly is saying, I am a big boy and I'm not scared of you - but - I don't want to get swatted again.
Picture #2 is Jolly keeping warm next to the heat register and he noticed Oscar.
Jolly went into the next room to get a good look at Oscar (picture#3). However, Jolly must be careful and gives him a wide berth (picture#4).
Picture #5 - Oscar was done eating and went upstairs with Jolly watching him go.
Lastly, once I had Jolly on the couch, Luke came in to get in a picture. Luke is Jolly's dad. Doesn't Luke look proud of his boy?
