• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Red Pigmentation around the mouth

If you leave it to stand for a bit then most of the odour goes off - they really don't like the odour.
 
It's amazing how much goes on when I'm away for two days! :D Linda - Jake in particular has a very pink mouth just like Dudley. His gets particularly red if it's especially itchy. But it does settle down.

I used a gentian violet mixture, dabbed on with cotton ball to apply the mixture onto stain. I used it around her mouth, especially that really dark area in the fold of lower lip. I also saw a thread in here (where? icon_nwunsure ) for a commercial product available online that works magic, even around the eyes.
 
These gorgeous Cavaliers! I love the photos. Their mouths and fur look normal. (y) It's is just the pretty pink skin showing. On Om's Dec. '06 photos the red stain is very obvious.
